Labor record slips and summary of labor roll, 1859 August 31-November 16.

Students received labor record slips certifying performance of labor detail assignments for recording to determine their class standing. Three slips document students' work in shop, laundry (carrying water and turning the mangling-machine), hauling water and chopping wood. The summary of labor roll for seven weeks ending 16 November 1859 lists 94 students by last name and sometimes first initial, full credits, deficient credits, blanks excused and not excused, merits, and total number of half hours.
